Okay, so again, work has pushed back me posting these images from my adventures through Burma (along with a bit of an upload issue a week or so ago I was having). I apologize for that consistent excuse!
An adventure it was, events unfolded that I would never have expected, but unfortunately those will have to wait for a day when I see you in the flesh.
My month long adventure through Burma in October included a return to Yangon, Bagan, then began a long run up the Ayerwaddy River for about 7 days. It took us from Bagan to Mandalay, then north up to Myitkyina, the capital of the Kachin State. I then went back to Mandalay and headed off for Hsipaw in the Shan State, trekked into some incredible villages past bamboo huts, tea fields and mountain rice fields. Anyway, the end of the trip finished with snorkeling and the white sand beaches of Nwe Saung on the Bay of Bengal. There’s really nothing like $2 plates of fresh crab! Anyway, enjoy the images and I’ll hopefully be able to write about this trip in the future (I’ve got plenty of journal pages from it)! Enjoy the images in the meantime and please let me know if you are interested in purchasing any of these as well! I am currently looking for a gallery that would be interested in displaying a collection of images from Southeast Asia, so if you know any interested galleries, please let me know. Cheers and enjoy!
